The Switchables Breast Cancer Ribbon cover is a thoughtful gift for someone newly diagnosed with the disease, or for a breast cancer survivor, or for a medical professional involved in treatment or research, or for an advocacy organization's office. Display your pink ribbon cover during October's National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Switchables donates a portion of the profit from this design to breast cancer research.
This is not a self-contained night light. Switchables stained glass night light covers are designed to be used with the Switchables Nightlight Fixture (sorry, we are permanently sold out -- clicking that link will take you away from our store). Switchables are "switchable" because you can easily swap any one of our covers onto the same simple fixture. You can also use your Switchables cover as a suncatcher, a Christmas ornament, or with any other kind of light source. To display your Switchables cover in a window, add the optional suction cup.
Did you know...?
Ribbons have been used to express solidarity with a particular cause at least since Tony Orlando and Dawn sang "Tie a Yellow Ribbon 'Round the Old Oak Tree". The Susan G Komen Foundation first handed out pink ribbons to participants in its New York City race for breast cancer survivors in 1991.
