Critical scorn for the Dawn of Justice movie didn't keep DC superhero fans from embracing the latest incarnation of Batman's indispensable ride. This Batmobile is a moderately challenging Metal Earth model with about 54 pieces on two sheets of metal.
Each Metal Earth model is laser etched in meticulous detail on 11 cm (4.33") metal sheets. Pop out the pieces by hand (or use wire cutters to get especially crisp lines), bend the tabs using needle-nose pliers, and fit them together as shown in the simple pictorial instructions. For maximum dramatic effect, display your model on the LED Display Base or the Solar Spinner (sold separately, see below).
Please note that Metal Earth models have sharp edges and are not suitable for children under 14.

It took production designer Patrick Tatopoulos five months to build two drivable cars for the 2016 Batman versus Superman movie. One of the hardest challenges was finding tires for the long-hooded, tanklike vehicle he had created. Eventually his team shaved and resculpted a set of Israeli farming truck tires. Shrouded in matte-black stealthy-looking armor (actually fiberglass), this Batmobile is rear-wheel drive with a three-speed manual transmission, because that's simpler (and thus more durable) than the drivetrain in your family auto. A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 from a Chevrolet Camaro moves this behemoth along rather more briskly than your typical SUV, too.
