TIE One On
Don't miss your last chance to buy this discontinued Star Wars model! They won't last long at this price and we can't get more when they're gone.
Each Metal Earth model is laser etched in meticulous detail on 11 cm (4.33") metal sheets. Pop out the pieces by hand (or use wire cutters to get especially crisp lines), bend the tabs using needle-nose pliers, and fit them together as shown in the simple pictorial instructions. For maximum dramatic effect, display your model on the LED Display Base or the Solar Spinner (sold separately, see the Related Products below).
The Special Forces TIE Fighter is an intermediate difficulty Metal Earth model. It consists of 24 pieces on two sheets of metal. Assembled, it measures 3.50" x 2.25" x 2.00" (8.89 x 5.71 x 5.08 cm). TIE stands for Twin Ion Engine fighter craft.
Please note that Metal Earth models have sharp edges and are not recommended for children under 14.

Technically designated the TIE/LN or TIE Line, The Empire's standard starfighter, TIE/LNs (often called "Eyeballs") existed in overwhelming numbers to attack in massive waves. The cheap craft had no hyperdrive, shields, or even life support and pilots were considered as expendable as the vehicles. The TIE/sf, on the other hand, was adapted for the First Order's elite pilots. Unlike the Empire's old TIEs, this two-seat version has advanced weapons and sensors, as well as extra power, hyperdrive, and deflector shields.
