Dashing Through the Snow
Don't miss your last chance to buy this discontinued Star Wars model! They won't last long at this price and we can't get more when they're gone. The First Order Snowspeeder is a more challenging Metal Earth model. It consists of about 45 pieces on two sheets of metal. This light infantry vehicle is specialized for frigid climates. Assembled, the First Order Snowspeeder measures 1.35" x 3.25" x 2.25" (3.42 x 8.25 x 5.71 cm).
Each Metal Earth model is laser etched in meticulous detail on 11 cm (4.33") metal sheets. Pop out the pieces by hand (or use wire cutters to get especially crisp lines), bend the tabs using needle-nose pliers, and fit them together as shown in the simple pictorial instructions. For maximum dramatic effect, display your model on the LED Display Base or the Solar Spinner (sold separately, see the Related Products below).
Please note that Metal Earth models have sharp edges and are not suitable for small children. Metal Earth was originally called MetalWorks.
Are you curious...?
Whereas the Rebel snowspeeder is a modified fighter aircraft, the First Order's snowspeeder was designed as a ground transport vehicle. It holds one snowtrooper pilot and can transport two others, one of whom typically mans the nose blast cannon. The design is simple and rugged: a pair of seats on a cargo platform with turbo engines and a big gun.
Concept art was created for a scene you never saw during the battle of Starkiller Base in The Force Awakens. Finn and Rey stole a snowspeeder for a chase scene that was dropped from the movie.
