Celebrate the Solstice Season
Even though Christmas is primarily a secular celebration of consumerism now, its religious origins still make atheists feel excluded during the holiday season. Include the unbelievers by hanging this stocking with the others. The felt stocking is 16" (40.6 cm) long and depicts human evolution from the Big Bang through Santa Claus.

Atheism ranges from an active and passionate belief that no gods exist to a passive and indifferent absence of belief (which overlaps with agnosticism, the belief that we cannot know whether or not gods exist). This spectrum makes it hard to say how many atheists there are. 13% of respondants worldwide identified as "convinced atheists" in a 2012 Gallup poll, but that includes members of non-theistic religions, like Buddhism. Only 2.4% of Americans called themselves atheists in a different 2012 poll. That's up from 1.6% in 2007. Atheism correlates with education, a high quality of life, and long life expectancy; by contrast, there are virtually no atheists in undeveloped countries.
