Roll Out the Barrel
This intricately detailed handblown glass that resembles a whiskey barrel is complete with staves, hoops, and even rivets. It's perfectly suited to your favorite Scotch, bourbon, rye, port, or any other spirit. It measures about 3.4" x 3.4" x 3.4" (8.63 cm) and holds 8 oz (0.23 liter) of your favorite beverage. Every home bar needs a full set of these.
Are you curious...?
Whiskey barrels aren't just a good idea; they're the law, at least in some jurisdictions of the US. If you want to call your spirit "straight whiskey," it has to be aged for two years in new, charred white oak vessels. If you want to make "Scotch," you have to age it for at least three years and one day in oak casks...and you have to do it in Scotland. Canadian whiskey must be "aged in small wood for not less than three years," with "small wood" defined as a barrel of 700 liters or less.
