The Switchables Sunshine Santa nightlight cover recognizes that not everybody spends Christmas in snowy climes. By the way, the bell on the end of Santa's hat really tinkles!
This is not a self-contained night light. Switchables stained glass night light covers are designed to be used with the Switchables Nightlight Fixture (sorry, we are permanently sold out -- clicking that link will take you away from our store). Switchables are "switchable" because you can easily swap any one of our covers onto the same simple fixture. You can also use your Switchables cover as a suncatcher, a Christmas ornament, or with any other kind of light source. To display your Switchables cover in a window, add the optional suction cup.

"Snowbirds" used to be rich people who migrated between seasonal homes to enjoy an ideal climate year-round, but that stereotype lost steam as cheaper travel and favorable tax policies enabled middle-class retirees to move with the seasons. Today snowbirds typically declare residency in a no-tax or low-tax state that they visit a few weeks or months out of the year, allowing them to pay lower non-resident rates back in their real homes. A lot of snowbirds take their homes with them, owning a motorhome (RV) specifically so that they can drive south in the winter. They often flock to the same RV parks year after year, creating temporary communities with "second families" of like-minded travelers.
