Julia Child famously said "I enjoy cooking with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food." Those immortal words appear along the top of the Sauced Measuring Wine Glass. The 12-ounce (355 ml) lead-free crystal all-purpose wine glass is accurately marked in 1/4 cup increments "for the pan" on one side and 2-ounce (59 ml) sips "for the chef" on the other side.
Please note: The photo shows two Sauced wine glasses so that you can see both sides. Each package contains one glass, not a set of two. Wine not included.

Wine glasses are broadly divided into red wine glasses, white wine glasses, and champagne flutes. Traditional wine glasses consist of the bowl, the stem, and the foot. Lately stemless wine glasses have grown popular, but you're supposed to hold your glass by the stem to avoid transferring your body heat to the wine and to keep your grubby fingerprints off the clean glass. No scientific study has ever shown that a wine glass's shape affects the taste of its contents, but oenophiles are adamant that the proper glass's shape concentrates a wine's flavor and aroma for maximum enjoyment. However, their belief that the glass also directs the wine to the area of the mouth with the appropriate taste buds has been debunked, so you can't always believe a oenophile. Our Sauced wine glass is "all purpose," meaning that its shape is not specialized for either red or white wines.
