O Canada!

The familiar red-and-white maple leaf flag didn't replace the Union Jack as Canada's national symbol until 1965. The maple leaf has been used to celebrate Canada's environment since the 1700s. The number of points on the leaf don't represent anything. Wind tunnel tests indicated that the current design was the least blurry in high winds.
