Temperature Controlled Shower Light

Overview
Never Jump Into a Cold Shower Again
Dear Customers: We are disappointed with the Temperature Controlled Shower Head's production quality. Our test item worked fine for about a month. Then the temperature sensor became erratic, and the lights gradually stopped working altogether. Maybe we just got a bad one. Maybe the rest are fine. The product has been on the market for years, after all, so most customers must be happy with them.
But we can't in good conscience sell this product for full price. We are therefore offering it to you way below our cost. All sales are final on this item. At this price, why not go ahead and gamble? It's a really cool product when it works right, and maybe you'll have better luck than we did. At the very least, it still works fine as an ordinary shower head.
The Temperature Controlled Shower Light floods your shower with cool blue light when you first turn on the tap. When the temperature reaches a comfortable 89 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius), the LED lights turn red. This visual signal that you don't have to wait any longer, along with the built-in water flow regulator (just 2.5 gpm at 80 psi), can even help you save water. And if you decide to turn off the bathroom light for the full effect, you'll save electricity, too. See? It's practical!
Now that you've justified it to yourself, you can admit that this companion to the Temperature Controlled Faucet Light (click the Related Products tab) is just really, really cool. Go ahead and bring your plumbing into the 21st Century. You know you want it.
The Temperature Controlled Shower Light uses water flowing through its internal turbine to generate electricity, so it doesn't need batteries. The higher your water pressure, the brighter the lights will be -- if your pressure is low, they will barely glow at all, so we don't recommend this product for showers with low water pressure. As you would expect, it installs easily on a (US) standard shower pipe.
- Low-flow design saves water
- No batteries needed, but you do need decent water pressure
- Blue means cold water, red means hot
