Inexpensive Hands-Free Lighting

These 5-LED Baseball Cap Lights may not be as deluxe as the Power Caps that you'll see on the Related Products tab above, but they cost a lot less and can be used with any cap. Like our full-scale cap lights, they're a lightweight, hands-free light source for mechanics, hunters, campers, anglers, tradesmen, and anyone else who does detail work in less-than-ideal lighting. Bikers and joggers will appreciate the safety benefit of the flashing mode. They fit easily in any map compartment to provide emergency lighting in your car.

Non-US customers: The USPS prohibits international shipping of lithium batteries unless they are installed in products. To comply with that requirement, we have to install the batteries that normally ship with our clip-on cap lights. Customers outside of the US, including US military addresses (APO, FPO, DPO), will receive opened packages. Furthermore, some countries will not accept any packages containing batteries; customers in Germany and Italy will receive the unit with no batteries. See our Shipping page for further information.

Although they're designed for baseball caps, if you click the "Photos" tab you will see that these cap lights work great with hardhats, too. The plastic clips that affix the light unit to the hat weren't meant to open that wide, though, so if you do use these clip-ons with a hard hat, be sure to put it on gently.

Because we get these from different sources, the housing color and the packaging may differ from what's shown.

Please note: The 5-LED cap light is a very reliable product with a defect rate near zero. If your unit isn't working, please try reversing the battery polarity. Contrary to what you would think, the battery in the "+" slot should have its "-" side up and the battery in the "-" slot should have its "+" side up. When the batteries are inserted like this, snap the battery compartment door securely into place and activate the pushbutton on the back of the unit.
