The third-generation LED lighted Power Cap from Panther Vision has three LEDs to shine light right where you need it. A single ultra-bright high beam spotlight is set into the leading edge of the brim. This high beam LED is twice as bright as those in the old 2-LED caps to deliver the same amount of light out to 15 feet (4.5 m), and it's visible up to a mile away (1.2 km). Two standard-brightness LEDs under the brim, near the switch, are angled down to focus without glare on up-close tasks.

The switch sewn into the Power Cap brim lets you select just the high beam, just the low beams, or all three together. Four CR-2032 coin cell batteries (included) are concealed in a hat band compartment. They can last up to 75 hours in normal use and are easily replaceable. The LEDs themselves are said to last an average of 12 years. Every cap comes with a limited manufacturer's warranty from Panther Vision.

The cap itself is high-quality 100% brushed and washed 16x12 cotton twill with piping in the bill. It has a top button and six sewn eyelets. A color-coordinated sweat band has a foam sandwich layer for added comfort. The cap is unadorned except for the Panther Vision logo sewn, unobtrusively in matching thread, into the bottom of the bill. The blank front of the cap can easily accept any embroidered logo you want to add (sorry, but Curio City does not embroider or imprint). These are lightweight, comfortable, low-profile six-panel baseball caps with a velcro adjustment strap to fit most heads.

The 5-LED Realtree AP Gray camouflage cap has one white high beam, two white low beams, and two green low beams to protect your night vision. The 5-LED cap uses two battery packs containing eight batteries. You cannot use the green lights and white lights at the same time (and why would you want to?). The 5-LED Blaze Orange with black trim is obviously not a camo cap. It's designed for deer and small game hunters. Like the 5-LED Realtree AP Gray, it has one white high beam, two white low beams, and two green low beams. It's the only Panther Vision cap that's made of polyester (for water resistance) rather than cotton.

The Desert Camouflage Mesh Back cap is the only mesh cap Panther Vision ever made and the only desert camo pattern. We got our hands on a few at a clearance price. The two front panels, the bill, and the head band are gray/tan with dark brown accents. The four back panels are dark brown mesh. This lightweight cap is a good choice for hot weather. Panther has discontinued production, so supply is strictly limited. This is the second-generation 2-LED brim switch cap -- not a 3-LED Power Cap.

Structured or Unstructured?

Camouflage lighted caps are only produced in the "Structured" version. They have buckram batting sewn into the two front panels to give the hat stiffness and shape.

Discounted prices apply to orders of identical caps shipped to a single address. You may not mix and match styles, or combine separate orders, to attain these discounts. Discounts will scale with each cap's base price -- that is, if the 5-LED cap is priced $4 higher than the 3-LED caps, then the discounted prices will also be $4 higher than those shown in the table above. Volume pricing is subject to availability -- we do not always have enough caps in every style to fulfill very large orders. Cleaning Your Power Cap

Remove the batteries and hand-wash in warm, soapy water (do not bleach). Don't immerse the bill or the head band in water. You can clean the surface of the bill with a damp cloth, but keep the electronics dry! Do not machine wash or dry clean. Line dry for at least 24 hours before replacing the batteries. Don't use the clothes dryer. Do not iron.
